English, Español, Kreyòl. Professor at the Université d'Etat d'Haïti (Haiti's State University), and coordinator of the Haiti Grassroots Watch collaborative – a multimedia, multilanguage “reconstruction watch” partnership of "alternative" media institutions, students from the State University of Haiti's Faculty of Human Sciences and volunteers from some of the country's community radio stations. My research interests are social movement media, investigative journalism and communications for social change. I have taught at University of Massachusetts and Tufts in the U.S. and I am also a multimedia journalist and filmmaker. I have worked in and on Haiti for over two decades. I currently also coordinate the Somerville Neighborhood News in at Somerville Community Access Television in the U.S.
